Skipped cutscenes disable achievements, hindering players aspiring for completion. Moreover, button-mashing can sometimes trigger false prompts, leading to accidental skipping.
Innovative Solutions
To attain both completion and cinematic satisfaction, use the game’s “Continue” option after each cutscene. This allows the scene to play without interfering with achievement eligibility. Alternatively, enable “Console Mode” (found in Hotline’s properties on Steam) and type “nocuts” (minus quotes) to disable cutscenes altogether. Remember, however, that disabling cutscenes will prevent certain story elements from being revealed.
