Competitive Landscape

The Route of Rold crosses the Pyrenees via the high passes of Roland and Ibon, connecting France and Spain. It is one of many trekking routes in this popular area, competing with the HRP (Haute Route Pyreneenne) and GR11 (Ruta Transpirenaica). The Rold offers a challenging high-altitude route, with stunning mountain scenery and a rich historical and cultural heritage. However, the HRP and GR11 are equally attractive, offering well-established routes and accommodation options.
