Compared to other VHs in Borderlands The Pre-Sequel, Gaige Mechromancer’s Only Meat Unicycle has unique strengths. Unlike Nisha’s Gunner, Gaige lacks a dedicated survivability skill, but compensates with Anarchy stacks for high damage potential. Claptrap’s Fragmentation Bolt provides higher single target damage, but lacks the sustained AoE of Unicycle. While Wilhelm’s Oz Kit offers potent self-sustain, Unicycle emphasizes damage and mobility.

Value Proposition

The Only Meat Unicycle excels in sustained AoE damage throughout the majority of the game. Its high firerate and Anarchy stacks allow for rapid application of status effects and crowd control. While its accuracy may be lacking compared to sniper rifles, the Unicycle’s high damage output compensates. However, its late game scaling falls behind other VHs due to limited scaling options. Additionally, its high ammo consumption can be a liability in extended fights or without proper gear.
